This is exactly what I was thinking after taking my 4x3. He COULD get bigger, but he could also be eaten by wolves, splattered by a semi truck, poached, or just plain starve. He looks far better in my freezer!

Add me to the list of appreciative readers, sifted through the entire thing a few weeks ago, lots of good info. I’m in region 4 (no baiting of ungulates) so obviously some of your techniques don’t apply but none the less I got some great tips and it made me realize there’s more to hunting whitetail than I realized, pushed me towards doing more reading and honing my skills further for coming seasons. I’m hooked now.
