The winter has been slow to say the least. Let's get this site rolling again with some stories/pictures/videos.

Have pictures of these guys after the velvet came off in bow season then they were gone.
Had one show up Nov18th for a couple days but that was it, a bunch of younger bucks were regularly showing up day and night but not the big boys.
before putting these cameras out didn't realize how many whitetail were in the area, way more than we thought.

I have 5 still out as well as getting my ass in gear to tell the story of this years whitetail hunt....too little time, too much hockey, too much snow, too cold....equals too may excuses!!!

Will get it done soon!

Will be interesting to see who survived the season as well as how the cams held up to the -40 temps.....

Same story here. Too much snow for me to get even remotely close to a couple cams that are sitting unchecked for a couple months. Would be a heck of stomp in there but the anticipation of picking up some tine around the site and seeing what's on camera has me thinking about it. Not sure I can wait another 2 months to get to them.

May just have to strap on the misery slippers and curse all the way in there.

Misery Slippers??? that's a good one!
I'll have to remember that one....never heard that term before, but is pretty accurate, although the new styles are way
easier to move around in then the "originals"...which I have a set of!

You are just using regular rechargeable there.
Do they last long enough?
(sorry, I just found them not to hold the charge a regular battery does for a long time).
Mind you, I guess you get out there often enough to swap out.
