Heading up the hill after lunch with a dear and respected friend for the first WT hunt of the season.
I won't be carrying a firearm so standards will be very low......as in legal.
Got a good feeling about this evening ......

The cams showed Nov 21st was insane with endless day time activity.

Woods to water
Pretty Jelly of your snow, we have none here down lower. Good time to be in the wt woods for sure. We passed several bucks today, only one decent one but trying to get a ten year old his first wt. He chose to pass all the does and small bucks. One young buck was putting on quite the performance chasing does. Looking forward to the next week. Good luck and shoot straight.
The only advantage to a light rifle is it's weight, all other advantages go to the heavier rifle..
