Yup. 8th Gen makes some good wine. I buy a case of their Pinot every year when it’s released.
Thanks for the encouragement Ourea. I’m pretty sure we were in the right spot, but I think a week too early. I’ll plan to be there more at the height of the rut next year. Some of our area was flagged for road building. My buddies who set up camp 10 mins south of us lost a bunch of their prime spots this past summer. They had a bunch of wolves around, and with 4 guys hunting fairly hard for a week, they only got a single spiker for the whole group.

Checked a couple cams today.
I have heard the term "pred pits" being thrown around by a tiny minority.
8 years and 20 plus cams running year round and never captured a pred chasing deer on cam......ever.
I have got owls and hawks taking runs at rabbits on a rare occasion, never a cat, wolf or coyote.
That changed, well kinda.
Had a bobcat come running in after a rabbit.

Haven't been on this thread much to read, but what kind of distance do you have amongst all your cameras?
I recall one buck that was a beaut that travelled quite a distance between your camera's and another friends, many
km's away overnight.
Did you track any bucks moving big distances between cameras in a day this season?
