Thanks Harry for bumping this back up. Those are some great bucks!! Nice photos

Scouting season has been busy; but the warm weather has slowed things down.

A tease of what I am seeing so far this year!

    Cheers

Can't wait to see if our WT areas have been destroyed by fire this year.

Sadly we didn't get our cams out early, but maybe for the better as we still have them at least.

Fires through out the province may make this year's WT game a lot different. Time will tell.

Hopefully this thread starts to heat up soon as it has been an I credibility educational and informative, some on here regularly post some big WT on cams or their harvests, looking forward to another great season of pursuing these amazing animals.

The area I have successfully hunted WT the last 5 years has been burnt to the ground. I drove through a week ago and my heart was broken. I was glad to see that it appeared that most homes and structures were saved. That is awesome testament to the hard work people have put in fighting these fires.

    Nice old buck
Been trying to catch up with double drop for years, from the guys that know of him seems he's at least 7 or 8 years.
noticed his body start to go down hill, you can see his loins thinning out on his back.
every year in the summer he almost lives at the camera, but disappears as soon as gun season starts only to show up the following July.
Have you ever found his sheds ?
if people of color do it, it's "affirmative action" "civil rights", etc, etc. If a bunch of white folks do it....its "racist" and "hate speech" quote Willyqbc

Give it a couple years for the regrowth and I bet you will have great success in the areas again.

I started this thread after much evaluation and then committed to it.

I saw that HBC was lacking solid information that wasn't simply a look at me story or a hero thread.
I have tried to plug in as much info into my threads that help hunters less informed and involved as me.
Help others, grow the sport should be the goal of anyone.

I encourage anyone to take this thread over and help the hunting community.

I spent uncountable hrs, effort, and expense on this thread.
I hope it has helped and inspired folks.

This is a hunting site and I hope some are reading between the lines right now.

Make this a HUNTING SITE AGAIN, not a coffee club.

Sure, I can make a contribution. This is an awesome thread by the way and thanks for starting it, and taking the time to keep it going. I just posted these in another thread, but maybe I should have posted them here instead.

Hoping to run into this guy this fall. Second year I've got him on camera in this area. Last year I got him chasing other bucks and rutting hard. Still trying to figure out how to sneak into this spot without getting busted (its really thick and volatile winds)
