Back to what this thread is about....
I am keen on a couple WT as they are nontyps and I love my junk.
They are proving to be absolute Houdinis.
Despite a considerable network of cams and always snooping I cant peg them down.

Anyway, here's number three on my list of customers.
He's a lovely buck but his absent G5 on his left side breaks my heart.
It wouldn't be too difficult to want to kill him if he had that G5.
I will keep looking for those nontyps as they float my boat.

    Here is number three..

A few have suggested that I may be overestimating the WT does in this area.
I do wish to call out again that most does do have a signature on them.....a cut ear, scars on their hide etc.
Paying attention to this lets me identify the characters in this program and give me an understanding of numbers and when does are 'overlapping' on other cams.
Nice to see most does sporting twins again this year.

^^^^yes it is nice to see them sporting twins, a sign of relatively healthy does that are not experiencing a lack of food..another advantages of the short doe season..and they must be doing a good job of keeping the fawns away from preds...

Headed up the hill and took advantage of the cooler weather.
Had a bit of load to pack in and not having to endure 35 degree weather is a blessing.
    Always love the drive up....

This is the driest I have seen the Okanagan. Bush is tinder dry.
With that understanding I wanted to pack in a bit of hay with the prospect that it would be a magnet for WT considering how dried up forage is right now.
It is also very aromatic so deer should pick it up from long distances.
This area is situated in a long drainage so the descending evening catabatic winds will push the scent down for miles.

I am sure the cattle will find and clean it it shortly, but if I get just one of the non typs on cam to evaluate I will be happy.
    Another day at the office.

This buck is obviously showing the same genetics as the great typ I posted earlier.
One thing I have learned is that big buck spots will consistently be big buck spots if they can survive pressure as the genetics are passed on.

Should be a decent buck in two yrs.....
