I would just use judo points . I have tried lots of different points and judo point worked the best for me . I found my blunt passing through birds .

I put a washer behind a field point. It's cheap and gets the job done.

I'm second guessing using my bow for birds... It's hard to justify the cost of a broken arrow for a grouse! I think I might bring my desperadoes because I don't like them all that much.

to whomever asked I'm shooting a compound set at 45#

Once you order a set of new arrows, make sure you keep your old arrows(or what's left of them) just for birds. Not near as painful to lose or break them that way.

I think you will have a broken arrowhead shooting grouse on the ground with them, could get expensive $$. I vote for those judo points, if you miss the wire tips should flip the arrow and prevent it from going to far. Cheers Roscoe

I used to use blunts but they warp pretty bad after a couple rough landings and they are useless on any shot over 15 yards. Even though they are way more expensive it's Judo points that you wanna use. be aware of where your arrow will go after you shoot. If your gonna lose the arrow and judo off an embankment or something I would say let the grouse walk haha

Just buy alum arrows they are cheap. Often can find lots of them at flea markets or garage sales.
