    Finally got a callback from conservation regarding the Dumont/Biggs field, outside Nanaimo. He said you're allowed to shoot there, but its shot only. No single projectiles.

    Hope this helps anyone else curious about that area. Plenty of cottontail there every time I drive by.

    I personally wouldn't eat anything out of weigles rd area (domount area)... Biosolids application area, garbage, pollution etc. Check out lantzville foothills area (vipond rd) or dash wood area for bunnies.

    @Antwonmh Totally forgot about the Biosolid sites, thanks for the reminder! I can just imagine what those bunnies taste like. I'll scout the Lantzville and Dashwood areas and post what I find.

    Considering the thread is 5 years old , and hunting has just got more and more restrictive on the island, I wouldn't hold have high hopes lol
