Well I guess so, first day of hunting I catch a bull dogging a cow and moving fast, I got two quick shots off but the bull bolted into the timber and crashed away, spent 3 hours looking for it, no hair no blood ,so I chalked it up to a miss, my first ever miss on a moose.
I was very bummed out. I went back for the next 3 days listening for ravens but nothing, while waiting in the same spot doing some cow calling I spot this moose coming down the same hillside in the same exact place and I am convinced he is the very same moose, this time I am ready with my folding sticks out of my pack and ready I settled the cross hairs on him with a good rest on my sticks and shot him in the shoulder quartering to me at 125 yards. He ran another 40 yards or so and showed signs of being hit hard but I put another two in him before he dove for the lake or the timber, he piled up in a great place as I was able to get the slowzuki close and hooked up a chain and dragged it back to camp.what is most amazing is the same moose showed up in exact the same spot.
