He wedged himself in like this; all four feet in the air. Then died. It was pretty hard to get him unstuck. Luckily he wedged this way as the hillside gave way right below him. Woulda been a lot worse then.....

That is an amazing stones sheep. Love the horns and the colour. Must have been a very satisfying day.

If we are all equal why do you demand special treatment?

Thanks guys. He was truly a monarch of the mountains. He surprised us just as much as we surprised him. He came over the top right where we were sitting and we had a one minute staredown at thirty yards. Of course, guns were not handy and still attached to our backpacks. A short run later, he took a tumble and ended up here. I've been a part of a couple of dozen harvests, and this one is in the top three. Glad to still have the strength and drive it takes to get the job done. Congrats goes out to my hunting partner; heck of a first ram for him!! The pic doesn't show how steep it is. He is facing head down on the mountain at a 45 degree angle, lol.

Great ram! My trophy isn’t a trophy in that sense, but I called a small bull moose in from around 700yrds in the timber, out across a cutblock and straight at me right to about 15ft. First time ever calling moose no lie. Only moose seen on the entire 10day trip. Other guys In the group saw 6 total wolves, 5 black one silver within 2 km of each other on the road during daylight hours. Unfortunately unable to get a shot off on them. Is put up a picture but it won’t let me from my phone!
