if people of color do it, it's "affirmative action" "civil rights", etc, etc. If a bunch of white folks do it....its "racist" and "hate speech" quote Willyqbc
where's the cow rug?
The story is that the tannery had my hide for the 2.5 years and i was unable to contact him for the last 10months. Needless to say i was getting worried. I posted some help request on the BC Forum and many reached out to help. Then out of the blue the tanner called me and said it was done and that he was sorry for not getting back to me.
Mr. Dean asked me to post a pic when i got it back...

This one is just going to stay as a rug. I will trim it a bit and make it look symmetrical, but that is about it...Don't have enough wall space anymore, so it will be either on the floor or over a couch i think. The next one i get will definitely be a pedistal mount. I agree that they are the only way to go, once you have a rug already, of course.....
We talking an actual finished rug w/ a form in its head and backing, or just leaving it as a tanned hide?
A buddy of mine had a Mt. Goat cranked into a full-blown rug... I thought the concept was bizarre but once it was done, I was very impressed.
