    backpac recommendations

Well, I'm looking at a pack for a 2 week sheep hunt this fall. I'm curious as to what the general consensus is regarding the mystery ranch pack or the Kifaru pack. Any info I appreciated.

Mystery Ranch is a very tough pack. A little pricy but u get what u pay for. If your only going once you might want to find a less expensive pack. I have used my MR on 2 sheep hunts. the 6500 is big enough for a whole sheep, deboned of course. I like the MR for horse back because of the internal frame. You will need to get one with rip zip pockets or the belt pockets. I have also used the Wilderness Wanderer. I really like the external frame. You can set it down & it won't fall over, it makes for a great shooting rest. It has a lot of storage pockets. Which ever one you choose you need to get it soon. You will need to start using asap. Good Luck...
