    Vernon,Armstrong upland hunting

    As this will be my dogs second year hunting upland Ill be going as much as I can have some good area to hunt already but always look for new areas to try and I here a lot about the pheasant hunting around Vernon,Armstrong not asking anyone for there spots just if you do hunt the area whats the bird population like and if it mostly private land or is there any crownland to hunt.

    Interested myself in quail and pheasant, I have heard from a friend that above falkland over to Armstrong there are birds on the roads between the 2, as this is an old thread how did you do, any birds

    It used to be fun working the roads and ditches between the fields , with the odd quick jump of a fence for a retrieval ........
    then it suddenly became dangerous and outlawed
    Never say whoa in the middle of a mud hole
