Surprised to see the lack of cat hunt threads, pics. There's been a lot of snow and I thought the lucky guys with hounds would be all over the opportunity.

Was out a week or so ago when we had snow. Put up a small female. Had another bayed up in the rocks. It bailed off the cliff before I got in there and left the dogs stuck on a ledge. I will try and post up the female for ya.

Thanks Marc.

few guys have been out so far and have been successful up country but down here we have been litterally swamped with rain or blowing in the wind . We hope to get to some higher elevation in the next while and see if we can find some tracks.
I saw those pics on the gallery, were nice to see.
The cat population has to be up because I have seen more tracks this year than in the last 3 combined. Both crossing logging roads and certain spurs and on undisturbed bluffs I have climbed while hiking. After the first big snow fall, right on the logging road, there was a blood stain from a deer and it had been dragged into the bush by a cougar and partially consumed and buried.
I was out with bcHunter on the weekend and ended a good chase with a BANG!!
Got any pictures of the beast.Originally Posted by ex bc guide
