I have put out the word to my network of new hunters. We are all city dwellers so hopefully you folks can tolerate the smell of latte's Seriously hoping to convine at least two friends to take this course.

well biggyun our number is at 28 and if you have any success with your buddies i think we will launch the program and get to work finding a venue and chefs.the pressure is on buddy.i believe we will come up with at least 10 more people as it,s going on the bcwf website and other media outlets...stay tuned...dale

I have three tentative folks: Two of the guys are teachers so June is either busy (beginning of the month) or laid back (end of the month)... We are spreading the word to other folks too...

im in if im here it all depends if i go fishing this summer. if not i will bring my brother and possibly a friend.i think this is a great way to meet other young hunters and new friends. i like the bush way better than any stupid fing videogames so its a great idea get the kids excited and motivated to go out in the outdoors! i love this i really hope i can come to this thanks a lot to everyone involved

Hey FL, this is a great idea. Keep up the energy to make this happen. We need recruitment of new humters and fishers. BCWF region 1 has been running a 4 day kids camp for 5 years now to encourage kids 10-14. This is only open to kids from the region but it is booked every year. Your idea just expands on that.
If i can be of any help please get ahold of me. I suspect however, u already know my number, and have plans for my involvement.

Too bad we do not have a Kids camp in the lower mainland. I have two kids who go in a heart beat. I know Langley Gun club runs a Heritage days clinic for the kids who are members.
