[QUOTE=duallie;1270058]wow. I recall my cousin and I fishing up north of Sechelt in 1962 and our lines got all snarled up by a fish that had been on one of them. By the time we got it up, handlining both lines in together we discovered it was a ratfish. Ugliest damned thing I've ever seen other than an a bar room lady I woke up beside the morning after the night before. Being the ever considerate sportsman I decided I should let my cousin take credit for catching it, but he insisted that it should be me. Turned into one hell of a battle but I won and he got to take credit for it. Had a guy I was guiding in the early 70's in Campbell River try to tell me he caught a 105 lb spring off the Oregon coast once. I told him about the old brass ships lantern I snagged into of the lighthouse on Quadra Island that was still lit when I brought it in. He cried bullshit so I suggested that if he would knock about 50 or more pounds off that spring I'd blow the lantern out. The guy didn't leave me a tip at the end of the day.......I wonder why. lo
It's only when you see a mosquito land on your testicles that you realize there are other ways to deal with problems than violence.
