    My daughter's first mule deer

Here's a photo of my daughter Kelsey's "first mule deer buck" she shot on November 19 outside Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Kelsey took the buck with one shot from my dad's old model 100 .308 Winchester at 200 yards shooting 180 gr. Power Point factory ammo.
Sure makes a dad proud to see his kids choose to shoot, hunt, fish, and enjoy the great outdoors in a safe, respectable and ethical manner.

Congratulations, the grin says it all! It's especially nice to see families hunting together. That's a pretty good start to deer hunting too. Nice deer and good shooting! John

Kudos Bushman, my daughter is almost 4 and is to young for JK but spent the whole fall hunting with daddy. Her brother is in SK and is jealous. I have much better hunting with the girl in tow because she slows me down just long enough to see more game!-Matti
