If your stuff gets used, steer clear of bushnell. Junk.[/QUOTE]
Agree 100%
Holy Crap! I also had trouble getting a tight grouping with my 6500. I just always assumed it was the shooter....For most game, it's not an issue, but now you got me thinking...
I've got a 6500 on my 270 and it groups great with bullets touching in most 3 shot groups at a 100 yrds .
I'm still not sure about the whole parallax adjustment though.
I've used this scope for 3 hard seasons so far and no problems at all yet .
I would go for a Leopold I had 2 3200 and both had issues with water getting inside the scope. I hunt on the rainy wet coast and have had no problem with my Leopolds

I've had the same little 4X Sportview on my 10-22 since 1991. It has never let me down. Last time I sighted it in was probably five years ago. It's still bang on!
I had a ScopeChief 3-9 on my 700 BDL years ago. I found it to be a very good scope.
I've found the fit and finish of the Bushnells to have degraded as the years go by, though. The modern ones don't seem "feel" as solid, etc. If Ionly had one rifle, it would have decent Leupold on it, but I have a few, so they have others. For the same money as Bushnell these days, I like Nikon. Obviously not the same warranty as a Leupold, but I have found the Nikons to be excellent. Very clear glass and adjust well when sighting in.

I've got Bushnell Elites on my .270 deer rifle(several seasons) and the past two seasons on my moose rifle...no issues.
Parallax error is compensated for in hunting scopes by making them error free at 100-150 yards, so only if you put
a non-adjustable regular scope on a .17 HMR, for instance, and then expected it to drive nails at 40 yards, would there
be an issue. It would shoot just fine at 100 yards or so, but the parallax would throw it off on short shots at grouse...

ok I'll chime in... have a 3200 on my 300win mag for 10 years now... haven't even thought of the warranty or taken the turret caps off since I've sighted it in...
