    broadheads

yes half the price but the crimson talons are designed to roll with the arrow so there would be less tuning and more shooting

Rocky Mountain Snypers from Barrie Archery and your tuning problems are lessened.

All good choices in my opinion. It all comes down to what a person likes to shoot and there shooting style( finger or mechanical release).

    Re: check these out!!!

    Hey Guys,

New to this forum and would like to say that it rocks!!!
Got a question about broad heads. I got a LEH for spring grizzly and was wondering is there a special broad head that is built for that size of beast?? Not totally sure if I'm going to use my bow, but leaning strongly that way. Any input would be great!!

In my opinion for a beast like the grizz you need a tough broadhead and more importantly a SCARY SHARP broadhead. My BH of choice right now is the Montec G5 because it has no parts...it's milled from a solid peice of steel and is easy to sharpen. There are many great two blade heads out there that will get wicked penetration and are very durable such as those made by Magnus and Zwickey among others. Durability and penetration would be first and foremost on my mind for grizz as "follow up shot" takes on a whole new meaning when your talking about a wounded grizz!!

My own personal choice would be the Montec G5 in 125 grain....sharpened even more than when they come out of the package.

Good luck and let us know what you decide on!!

OH.... and stay away from those crimson talons listed above....word on them is stuff like deer hide will cause them to disintigrate!!

    Also welcome to the site!!
