    You want to make sure of that. Some of the older lenses have a slightly different mounting system and the tabs on the mounts don't line up right. How old are the lenses of the "junker"? Are they AF? or manual? what about Ap?

    Either way the D50 is a great camera, I shoot the D70s with 28-80F3.5-5.6 and Sigma 170-500mm and had great results, you can blow your pics up to 8x12 with no distortion.

    Yup - made very sure before I retired the "oldy-but-a-goodie."

    I'm really looking forward to getting some great photos. Great by my standards that is, I certainly am not a pro.

    I hava a 12 optical Lumix and if your using the full power even with the anti shake thing they have built in, you can get far nicer pics if you carry a tripod or window mount. Maybe I'm getting old but I can't hold it steady enough at full power..It is enjoyable to get a good pic, have fun with your new toy..

    I wish i could post the videos of the big muleys ive been seeing, but heres a goat ive seen from the highway in westbank!

    I've seen him too, he hangs out on the rock bluffs between the exit to the connector and Gormans. Pretty wild.
