    New hunter. Grouse question

Hi all. I am new to hunting, and would like to get some advice. I want to go improve my hunting skills by getting some grouse, but I am not sure where to go. In reading through this site, I hear about the Fraser canyon or Chilliwack, but as I am fairly new to the province, I am not sure of where the specific locations might be.

I also have a bit of a time crunch, my baby daughter and living downtown Vancouver means that finding time to get out of town takes a while!

I guess my question is, which locations should I consider?

Much thanks for any and all suggestions and advice!

Living in Van i think will be the tough bit. I see Seanps has shot you some help. You should be a fairly easy striking distance from Merritt or Princeton.
Get a Road Atlas for the area and look for roads.

Drive / walk older roads early in the am and in the evening.
My ideal Bird day. Birds 7-10am back to camp for breakfast. Go fish the lake or river you are camped by from 11-3pm. Then hunt birds till dark.

no prob, id give you a spot if i knew any.....
old roads that have the least amount of traffic... Pay attention to the terrain you find the birds in. The different grouse species like different places. Eventually you'll put it togeather
