    Busy Three Days in the Shop

    Just got out of the shop
    Here is the result
    Cocobolo double reed duck Calls



    Rosewood Short Reed Goose Calls



    Lathe turned bodies with polyacrylic soundboard stoppers
    Walnut single Reed on left
    Bubinga double Reed on right

    As someone who turns a fair bit, that is some awesome work. Pretty cool selection of woods as well! What kind of equipment do you use?

    I have a General International Maxi Lathe
    Its nice and compact and does whatever I need it to do
    also the assortment of other toys too. grinders,saws,belt sanders, etc

    Th wood has been selected more for its density to sound goos through a call but "pretty" works too.....

    Just got my Walnut single reed, me likely can't wait to play with it a lil more.
