Road/Hunting conditions in 100 Mile area

Has anybody been to the 100 Mile area recently? What are the road/hunting conditions like in area 5-1? I'm leaving tonight hoping to get a big buck.

We were up last weekend. There was a dump of 5 inches on Sunday night that was getting glazed up on the roads. Take your chains just in case you end up on a steep road.

The game was scarce but we hunted hard and had success. The guys seeing game were pounding bush like we were. Good luck!

It is clear and cold lastnight with snow left over from last weekend, so the roads are pretty dry, but the bush is sort of muddy, and its supposed to warm up and rain. i would hope you had mudders rather then chains... There were not alot of deer around last weekend and you really need to get out and walk the bush. i would try east of town because spring lake road and west of the mill get most of the attention. Try the 6000 road out past eagle creek and good luck.
    Can we eat it?
