    boundary bay duck hunting

    so I can't wait to get down in those mud pits on boundary bay. Last year the hunting over deks was so good. most days it was a limit day...this year i plan to hit the small islands in the south arm, I hear not only is duck good there but goose too....oct hurry up

    How do the ducks taste? I've only duck hunted in manitoba - i heard the ducks out here sometimes are not quite so good - different diet...

    Depends on the duck..some are great, but others not so good....

    Foxer...I've never ate a bad tasting duck in 30 years....I've heard some of the mallards up near Harrison taste fishy, but then eating chum carcasses and eggs would do that.

    Most Birds here are eating crops (peas, potatoes, peanuts, pumpkin, corn, some other grains) then suppliment it with marsh goodies during the day. Palmer that's a long drive to mBoundry Bay from C Lk. ....drop me a pm and we might hook up when you're down.
