    Alberta non-resident sheep

Well, it's taken 15 years and we're older and grayer, but my partner and I have just been drawn for the hunt of a lifetime - bighorns in Alberta.
Needless to say , all of our B.C. planned hunts are off (except the early elk bow season - maybe). One of those things that you never thought would happen to you but then there you are. I'm not sure if I can sleep tonight. Just got off the internet watching every Canadian bighorn hunt I could find. Guess I'll go to bed counting sheep. Wonder how high in th e count I'll get.

    Thats awesome man, congrats!!!

As for d6dan, the Non-Resident sheep tags arent 'WMU specific' so they give a guy quite a few options for sure....

I wasnt lucky enough to kill an Alberta ram, but if you spend enough time and commit to a serious hunt, you should do great. Makes me worried that a guy from the Koots is that excited about Alberta though and makes me wonder just how tough its going to be for me to finally kill a bighorn in BC now....haha

Thanks guys. d6dan, it's 21 different WMUs. Best to look them up on line.
I've got 5 weeks off to get it done, so hopefully it will work out.
Rackmaster, good luck on a B.C. bighorn quest.

Thanks brez! Have you chased a lot of bighorns in BC before drawing the Alberta tag?

Lots of great areas in AB for sure....I hope you kill a great ram!

Congrats Brez! Tough to draw, and tough to fill. Let us know when you focus on an area.

Awesome...way to go. I hunter hosted a buddy from the Yukon a few years ago on that tag.....pretty awesome chance to take a nice ram. Too bad the other provinces and territories wouldn't give Albertans any opportunity to hunt sheep as well. Here's the ram that Paul took in the Willmore. Good luck!
