I had been hitting the Mulies pretty hard the past few days. Seeing lots of different bucks, big and small, chasing does everywhere. I missed 2 bucks, back-to-back mornings and I was getting very P.O.'d. Both were on the move, but I felt that the shot should have been good. No blood, no hair, no nothin' on both occasions ( looked & looked & looked some more ). Turns out, I must've banged my scope, was way out....ARG . Anyhow, this a.m., found me looking for anything with 4-points or more, gotta feed the family . Jumped what I believe was the same buck I missed yesterday, he was gone like a shot, pretty heads-up for a "Dumb Mulie". About an hour later, I came across a group of 6-7 does and out pops the buck from behind some small pines. They all took off up and away from me into some thick stuff. I waited for the buck to come out and one shot ended my Mulie season for this year. While I was starting to gut him out, I noticed another 4-point about 100 yards away, sniffing around down below. He ended up getting within 30 feet of me before he gave a snort and bounded off. That is about it, I can send pics to someone who knows how to post them for me. BBA
