    There is still the access from the school and the fire hall. The best fishing right now is from the west bank behind the firehall. It's the deepest section. If you toss out big gear you will catch big bass. Any small gear will get you the sunfish and bass. And yes steelco I've had some good times fishing the trinity ponds. They tried unsuccessfully to eradicate the fish from the pond. Being 6 feet from the salmon river a lot of bad can and does happen in flood season. The salmon river has bass in it now and has for some time now which drains right into the Fraser.

    I've got a stick with some line, hook and worm for you anytime Pnbrock. the lake is big enough for canoe and small boats. If you want to take a kid fishing and keep his interest then this is the place.

    What are you using for flies out there. For bass i have only used wolly buggers before. And you are talking about the one that is on the firehhall side of the road right?
