So.. Teeko's now 3.5 months old. While she's getting alot of experiences around the big city, I'm also trying to get her outside in the bush as often as possible. Today marked her first time in a lake; I've had her down around the ocean in shallow tide pools a couple times and she performed well. Anyway, she took to the deep cold water like... err, well a lab Here's a couple pics.
Well Teeko got to go run with the big dogs down in the States on Saturday. Nice pup! very birdy!!! She had no hesitation at all picking up her first bird and brought it right back, on land and in the water.
Well thanks Jim, we had a great time. What a treat being able to see the big dogs practice and getting a sense of how fast a good trainer can bring the best out of a dog.
Besides, I wouldn't exactly say Teeko came straight back to us once she got her first bird - she seemed pretty interested in taking it away for lunch, but I guess that's a good thing
