Went out to a marsh in Ladner today. Got out later than planned. Scratched 6 ducks, then headed in. Probably coulda got my limit if I stuck around a little longer but I had a bunch of errands to do before I go back to work tommorrow.

Dano, got a mixed bag of Wigeon, teal and a pintail. Few mallards around but I wasnt being picky. If they set up to land in my dekes I took them. Maybe next time I will be more selective.

At this point of the season, there aren't enough birds around to be picky. I just wondered if there were more mallards out where you were. Nothing wrong with widgeon, pintail and teal. My partner prefers mallards so we both key on them, but this year I'm shooting most anything and he's watching!
