Never been to a 3D event but I registered for this one. See you there.

I'd reccommend you try another 3d event before attending the R-100. A typical 3d round would be 2 sets of 20 targets or 3 sets of 15. The R-100 is 1 set of 50 the first day and another set of 50 the 2nd day. It's going to be a long, hot shoot in July. Check out the 3d schedule at the top of the target forum. I would make an attempt to shoot at least one to get the hang of things. There's a good chance at 500 shooters for the R-100. Might seem a little crazy for a first shoot.
thanks for the reminder,i'm all registered as well.

Make sure you've got lots of water to drink. Have lots of sunscreen on hand and also some bug repellant.
Wear a hat and try to keep cool - you'll enjoy the event that much more.
Was going to make the trek down to visit and shoot the R-100 with my brother and my two oldest (8 and 6yr old).....rethinking now though, as 8+ hours in the beating sun may not be a great 3D experience for the young'uns.
As long as there's carbon in the air, there's hope!
I wouldn't worry about it being too hot. It's up the hill a bit from Kelowna on the mission creek valley. Should be perfect temperature.
