Homemade Goose Decoys, Cheap and Easy. PIC WARNING

I recently bought a bunch of decoys from an estate auction and these were included. I wish I would have seen one when I was 19.
I posted this on another forum and guys said the plans were from a magazine in the 70's; and they generally worked well. They definitely look good to me.
All you need is some dead innertubes you can get from any tireshop for free, some scrap 3/4" plywood, and some steel rod.
Be a nice father/son project on a snowy weekend, too.

Only thing I'd suggest as a change: All the heads look to me as, "Sentries". I'd make mostly, "feeder" heads and just a few upright.

Hope this helps. Any questions about them, just post and I'll try to answer.
    Best of luck.

Very cool off season project I am wondering if 1" high density foam may not work better than the ply wood tho, but in any case great stuff thanks for posting.

They look good but I think I'd hit the breasts with a little beige to give them some colour. K
