Wow!! Did you try T3s?? Must be painful??
thanks for posting?? haha
Wasn't usin my arm guard... shoulda seen it when I did it... I was shooting in the yard for about an hour and the last shot got me good, broke a blood vessel. I'm not gonna lie, it was gross. turned into a big blue golf ball instantly. I applied pressure until the lump subsided... ya owee
It's not even bleeding.
Try shortening your draw length on you bow. I was first measured incorrectly and did the same thing many times(although I never posted irt on here).
Got a different bow with a shorter draw length and have never done it again..and I don't need an arm guard.
Did you go to Emerg??

My bow arm naturally bends my elbow toward the bow string path quite badly, and I always used an armguard. This wasn't satisfactory though, because accuracy was compromised if the string hit the guard. Secondarily, I still would hit my arm, which would really hurt, leaving bruises similar to yours, and worse. Had a chat with Mr. Boorman at his store in Westminster. He had the same problem with his arm bending into the string path. He found that if he curled his 3 smallest fingers into his palm and only used his thumb and first finger to hold his bow, his arm and elbow would naturally be in the proper position for shooting his bow, and he didn't have to use an arm guard to or worry about hitting his arm anymore. This position didn't negatively effect his accuracy, as he is a renowned archery Pro. I followed his advice, and have never hit my arm again, and never wear an arm guard. Another advantage to your arm properly bending away slightly is not having to worry about hitting your sleeve (unless, of course, you're wearing very bulky clothing.)
