The best thread in the history of HBC? R.I.P. Dave. You were truly one of a kind.

I think the worst part of the photobucket problem is that this thread no longer has pictures.
I came back for a good old read and was sad to see the pics gone.

RIP Dave, been thinking about you the last few days.

I have to agree with the above posts as I miss his hunting threads that were always picture heavy and well written and always seemed to end with success of the hunt, the other part of Dave was his witty sarcastic posts that if you didn't know Dave most would find offensive but had me spitting my coffee through my nose most times especially the ones when it came to Vortex optics !!!!

then there was the guy who I lived most of my hunting life vicariously through as he had a job that allowed a lifestyle than most of us envied.....and an understanding spouse that we were all jealous of, but most of all his infectious smile and humour, always had a great hunting story or two to share.

    Heres to you buddy.......

I think I need to know where this Cabin is! there are three heavy hitters signed up on the wall!

Dave had a great way of writing and posting. He must have planned pictures and what he was going to mention regarding them.. I always wondered if he kept a notebook to plan it out on.

    835:
Names signed at the dock at Mucho Lake.
I know Dave used to record events on his phone to remember the big and little things on his hunts.

In hindsight, I would have to say this is one of my top 3 hunts I've done in my life.
I feel honoured to have Dave in my top 3.
