    Well, we have got word out about the reward, but as said, apparently someone reported themselves. Rumor that I heard form an unofficial source is that it was a Whistler resident.

    At least I was able to get in a line about the difference between legitimate hunters and poachers.
    Knowledgeable shooters agree- The 375 Ruger is the NEW KING of all 375 caliber cartridges. ALL HAIL THE NEW KING!

    Great effort Gatehouse. I tire of our media identifying Poachers as Hunters. Let's hope some sort of justice is handed down if indeed they do have a culprit and he is guilty.

    Good job Clarke!! I haven't heard anything on the Comox situation yet. BTW - The BCWF has a fund set aside for rewards. I'll post up more info on it in a separate thread ... Up to $2,000.

    What a shame !
    I think the wife and I have seen this bear a few years ago, was he a dark coloured bear with a very silver (grizzled back) ??
    I had spent many nights in the jungle looking for game,but this was the first time I had ever spent the night looking for a man eater.
