    Graylags?

We were out hunting deer yesterday when we came across a field which held about 5,000 Canadas. While we stood on the road watching them, I notice these five(5th one off camera) different geese on the edge of the flock. We`ve never seen them around here before. Are they Graylags? Anybody?

They don't look at all like greylags.Greylags are similar to specks without the belly bars.Google them up for a pic. Gunner

Yeah, not greylags. They appear to be either canadas lacking pigment, or a mix somewhere down the line with a tamey farm goose. I've seen one or two in our fields, see if I can dig up some pictures of them.
1st Im in charge, and if not Matt is. Your job is to sign checks, tell us we're doing good and open your case of scotch after a good day. 2nd my fee. You can keep it, all I want in exchange for my service is the right to hunt all the drakes. A male. Buck only. Why and how are my business. If you don't like it, go alone. Set up right here or in a swamp or in the middle of a noshoot field for all I care. I've been on too many duck hunts with rich dentists to listen to any more suicidal ideas. Ok?

I was shooting on Uist in the Outer Hebrides in September and it was heaving with Greylags. Lots of guys gunning for them though we were after snipe and sea trout. This piece is representative of what the shooting can be like there: http://www.shootinggazette.co.uk/sho..._shooting.html
