Hey guys had a good day hunting today, starting with a young buck wandering within 30yrd of my tree this morning and some fired up young buck in the evening taking exception to my buck grunts alittle too close to his lady friends! Man this guy at last light, after he rounded up is two girlfriends was running, snorting all over the clearing but didnt want to close the gap because of the extra growly call - too much buck for him to tangle with he,he, he. I love October! Just thought I d share what I saw tonight - this is the kind of response to calling I like to see, means things should really start to pick up soon as far as some good buck action goes!!
