Still grinnin', even after stealing a nap. LOL! Unfortunately didn't manage to get my membership renewed for the R&G Club in town, so I won't be able to enter him, but he's a trophy in my eyes, and is gonna definitely be getting mounted on a nice plaque on my wall, for sure!

And MAN, was this boy FAT. He had a 2" layer of fat down the length of his back, alone. Wonder if it's a sign of a long, cold winter? That, or just a fat, healthy buck.

Heck yeah! The guy's good luck, it seems. Gave me a little grief for knocking the boiler-room outta my deer though, he's more a head-shot guy, but I didn't wanna wreck a nice set of antlers like that! :P I've been taught to take the ticker out, so that's exactly what I did.

Thanks guys! This one's got a few old battle-scars, too! Looks like he was a real scrapper. Tattered left ear, and marks and scars all up and down his hide, I noticed. Man, I can't stop smilin' lol!
