I've look thru the regs but can't find any info if it is legal to bow hunt within the city limits.
I've talked to some hunters and they say yes, others say no.
Does the size of acreage matter ? Say...5 acres or more.
Please help...I've found a 6x7 mulie I would love to poke....with a arrow.

It depends on your city or municipality. It can be diffrent from community to community.

It depends on the municipality. I've heard that it is legal within Kelowna city limits - but don't rely on my information. I'm sure a call to the CO will clear things up - followed by a call to your buddy, Sean to come video tape it for you!

Wait a sec, I'm thinking.
Let us know what you come up with, I also live in Kelowna and believe you are good to go. I know two individuals that have taken deer in a certain city park and I hunt my landlords orchard regularly. To control pest deer with a shotgun requires buckshot, letter from landowner of 5 acres +, insurance, and police clearance.

Be sure to check with City of Kelowna Bylaw/ Parks staff to confirm.
3.3 No person shall carry or discharge any firearms including air guns, air rifles, air pistols, spring guns, or any weapon of any description in a park, except as provided in Section 4.4 hereof.
