First attempt of the year
season opened yesterday, and already we're getting good numbers of both ducks and geese holding up in the area
headed out at 5am, coulda left 15 mins earlier I tell ya, gets light fast. managed 4 canada's and 7 mallards between my friend and I. poor shooting stopped us from bringing down a few "gimme's"
we were hiding along the edge of the field, so our setup wasnt as good as it could be, I forgot all our camo mesh and stuff at home

lol it's early yet. I took 6 at some chickens and only nailed two. Gotta clean out the barrels and get the rust off...loll

Looking good! A great start even with your early season shooting.
All reports say we should expect high numbers of birds this season, I know our local goose population is way up.
I still haven't decided where to go next weekend for the goose opener, it all depends if I can get out saturday......

Hopefully your shooting will have those "early season kinks" through the predator contest this year.
