I'm working on a bear hopefully sooner than later but I'm curious as to where did you get it done and roughly how much should I expect to pay for one like yours. Thanks steeleco
Take a kid hunting its more rewarding than shooting an animal yourself!!
$?,to tell you the truth I'd have to look for the receipt. I took that bear in 1999 opening day
I had it done by a arsehole, I won't say his name. But i will say i am no longer dealing with him (messed me around with my sheep)
my bear is layed on double felt black them red. The black is suppose to make him look larger..?
I'll post a few of mine in a couple of days.

Hey steeleco, it runs ruffly a 100 dollars a linear foot for rugs , if your looking for someone to ship it to once you get one let me know, I know a fellow that owns a taxidermy studio and has won awards for his work all over north america
BCHunter, I have a Pope & Young 18- 12/16 that I bought from a guy. I was wondering, what is the best way to attach the rug to the wall. Nails? Hooks?
My big problen is not enough wall to hang it with house cats..lol I wonder if they`ll bother it, eg chew the claws or scratch the hell out of it. I might post a pic once I hang it. I know I never shot it, but at least I can enjoy looking at it.

Sure, Take my guns. Just grab the barrel and Pull

I have ringets attached to the rug so I can hang it
Sounds like a good way, I never even considered that option, thanks

Right now mine is on the floor, but last house it was on the wall with the ringets sewn onto the back of the rug which worked very well...jsut in case you wanted some re-assurance...
