    !!easiest way to post pics!!

    Hi All,

I have been struggling on and off for awhile now trying to figure out how to upload photos so that others can see them in a decent size. After some quite some time trying i thought i would share what i have found. This is really quite simple just takes a few minutes but all your pics will upload the same size every time.
    1. open an account with photobucket.com
    2. follow their steps to upload photos from your computer to their site
    3. make sure your photos are in an album on their site
    4. click on my albums
    5. click on any pic in the album, you will see a box beside your photo with four different address codes. Click on the one that says "DIRECT LINK". This will copy that pic.
    6. start your thread or reply on hunting bc in another window.
    7. click on the icon in your new thread post that says "INSERT IMAGE" (it looks like a little window)
    8. right click in the box and and PASTE the link you just copied.

Just make sure you keep 2 windows open--1 for Hunting BC and the other for Photo bucket and alternate back and forth as you copy and paste the DIRECT LINK from the pics in the album you created.
It sounds complicated but its very easy. This has been the easiest way i have found as my camera only takes pics of hi resolution so they are too large to download through hunting bc even after i resize them.Good luck and hopefully we will see more pics!!
    Cheers!!

You can post without opening a photbucket account.
Just put your pictures on here in the gallery and copy from there.

actually it is even easier, just hit the IMG code below your pic in PB and hit copy (if it did not already do that) and then go to where you want to post it in your post and hit paste.

Just make sure you stack picts on top of each other and not side by side.

There is a sticky on this under the Video and picts topic.

    Cheers

I usually just keep a photoshop document that is 640 x 395 pixels and title it as HBC picture template. Then when I want to put a picture up I just copy and paste it in that document and resize it to fit then save as... a different title

I just tried and it said the file is too large. What is the max size the file should be?

If you use Photobucket, it auto resizes. You then do not have to resize.

I tried again after resizing it, but it still says remote file too large.
