    Hiking with a shot gun

    is it legal to hike with a shotgun for bear defence in the middle of summer when its not open season, dont intend on using it unless one was to charge.

    Legal if you have your PAL and Reg cert with you.

    I probably would leave the deer calls and elk scent at home

    Just stay out of fed and provincial parks with it. They don't like that very much either

    All legal if you carry your registration for that gun and your pal and you are not in a park that disallows you to carry any rifle shotgun..

    I do alot of hiking and carry a really good can of bear spray, i carry this even when hunting.

    I was wondering the same thing. I want to take the wife and daughter out hiking this summer in revelstoketo some of the hot springs.

    Do I have to have my registration certificates with me whenever I am carrying a firearm???
