Longshot jr.
first band is always neat to aquire .......
I had a cable clipped on the the front of my 14ft duck boat (where the handle is in the front) , we clipped on many bands over the years, it was our good luck charm for us and the boat. Anybody that hunts the marshes close to the river in Ladner would probably agree that when the tide rips ya better know where you are and what direction you need to go !!
thanks for info guys. I wish salmon tags where bigger so we could collect/display them.
Oh to be lucky congrats!!
1st Im in charge, and if not Matt is. Your job is to sign checks, tell us we're doing good and open your case of scotch after a good day. 2nd my fee. You can keep it, all I want in exchange for my service is the right to hunt all the drakes. A male. Buck only. Why and how are my business. If you don't like it, go alone. Set up right here or in a swamp or in the middle of a noshoot field for all I care. I've been on too many duck hunts with rich dentists to listen to any more suicidal ideas. Ok?
Reports for this year say there's about 42 million ducks in North America, yes and estimate
Various agencies band about 1 million birds per year
Recovery rates on bands is about 5%
If everything was evenly distributed, which it is not, there is .001% of the continental population that is wearing jewellery.
Getting a band is rare!
