Thanks for taking the time to scan them and post them up. Some of us *ahem* are the first ones in many generations to take up hunting, and the pics of you and your Dad make me jealous, but in a good way. You're lucky to have your Pops as a hunting partner.
    Thanks again SSSSter!!

    Great pics!

Your Dad and his buddies sure did a great job of documenting their adventures....something that seems more normal for this day and age.

My Dad was lucky to take a hunting pic or two every couple of years ....at best.

    Keep them coming!

    Glad you're all enjoying them.

SSS...my Dad was pretty lucky to have a friend that took time to take photos and make albums, etc. He did a great job with them, and there is a big difference between the hunts he was on, and the ones in between. The albums are a real treasure now (and have been viewed over and over and over since the hunts took place). Sadly, the one responsible for them has passed on to the happy hunting grounds, far too early, so this is a bit of a tribute to him too in a way.

I'll have more posted tonite or tomorrow afternoon for sure.

    IIRC, they popped a u-joint.

My Pa ended up selling the Jeep the next year...as anyone who has (had) one knows, they are the land equivalent of a boat (a hole in the water that you dump money into). I had a '77 CJ-5 for a couple years in the early '90s and it nearly bankrupt me. lol

Yeah, they are not cheap vehicles to run... When they do run. I'd usually go a week or two with my 75 CJ-5 until something broke. Lots of fun though.

Great pics Chris. My Dad has been scanning his old pics too I've been thinking they'd be fun to share. Good memories. Love the orange hats and the beer on the front seat.
