    I would leave the band on if you are getting it mounted

    Wont matter either way for mounting, may have difficulties if you flattened it out, but shouldnt be a problem putting the band back on after its done.

    Congrats on both trophies! They can fly along ways, a couple japanese pintails have been shot in the central flyway and theres more and more euros in the pacific flyway every year.

    Wow!! I shot a euro last year and its getting mounted, but you lucky son of a gun got a band too!!! oh and... can I have some of those horse-shoes too???
