    Clovergulch Shoot !!

Well I'm awful at posting pic's but Man are there some BIG Mallards around.

I couldn't make the daylight shoot in Cloverdale area, so headed out at about 11:30 am, fisrt shot fired at 5 to 12, had a limit of 8 Mallards including a banded drake by 1pm. They just kept coming, I'm hunting standing corn so only took singles so I would not loose them, (no dog) finished with a nice pair (hen and a drake) on a double bang bang, DONE.

Just like the good old days .... way too much fun.

Our family Golden becomes such a mess when I do take him (I get in $##$#$%$%$! from the wife and kids) the burrs are brutal. Needs a hair cut after. Sure wish I had stuck to my guns on getting a short haired lab ..hahahah lol

Can't wait for my next day off !

We had to work for ours. We were hunting a new field and trying to 'figure it out'. Got LOTTSA exercise moving the show around...

Added a few to the freezer today, not much flying as the wind never came the way they said it would.

On another note, looks like we have a couple of PRICK members in our club.

1st) Leaving empty casings in the field, filled another bag today.
2nd) They must be consuming brews too while hunting as I picked up empty cans and bottles each time too.
3rd) Looks like they debreast their birds right on the spot as numerous carcasses right beside where we park.
4th) their deer hunters too as a complete carcass of a deboned deer was left nearby.

These are likely CLUB members believe it or not, you have to have keys to get through a main access, or they are unwanted trespassers walking a LONG way. I really hope we figure out who it is and they get removed from the club.

What is with some people !! If you pack it in ..... pack it out !

We are so privileged to have this hunting club in the lower mainland.

Sucks about the idiot members, makes us all look bad. I always make sure to pack out as much spent shells as I can find while out in public eye. Usually end up with tons out of boundary bay.

What club is it that you speak of and why is it, "so privileged"?
