    Waterfowling tip of the week.

Please feel free to add any tips you may have.

If your decoys have begun to look dirty, try cleaning them before your next outing with tire cleaner foam (non glare). Simply hang your old decoys along your backyard fence, spray them thoroughly with tire cleaning solution, and let them dry overnight. The next morning, they look as good as new.

    Tip #2
If the reed in your call sticks, just apply some Rain X or car wax on it and its good as new.

Set your deeks in a U or V shape so it kind of gives in coming birds a place to land, if you can, the more deeks the better too.

Heading out right now, mid day hunt ..... we'll see.

Wait for the birds to come in. Be patient.

Recce the places you hunt often, preferably from a distance. This will tell you where the birds are landing and which part of the field/water to setup on.

add motion to your decoys, either by placing them in current. or make up a jerk string.

    stay low and camouflaged..
be careful with your surroundings when using a firearm.
pre-scout the area before you hunt.
make a good effort in retrieving wounded or crippled birds.
    respect the nature.
if hunting near the ocean, keep the tides in mind.
    stay safe and enjoy

If you're using decoys... use them. Wait for the birds to come in and lock up into your decoys before shooting them. If you're going to shoot them before they come into your decoys, you may as well pass shoot
