    Snow Duck Hunting

    Hey guys,

My dad and I headed out yesterday for a duck shoot. Couldn't leave early as the Malahat was closed, and to make things worse our prime location was not accessible as the road was not plowed... So we headed to a different spot.

We finally started shooting around 9:30 and hunted a good few hours. Certainly good numbers of migrator mallards showing up. Shot the biggest hen mallard I've ever seen!!! Real fat one for sure. Let all teals (but one...) pass by.

All in all, a great day!! Dad and I have definately been puttin' the hurt on them puddlers this year.

    Longshot Jr.
