Well what can be said for a truely amazing hunt. From hunting with great company, to an overwhelming amount of geese in the air and on the ground.
From landing 10 specks first thing and drooling over them. To 5 minutes later holding 400-500 lessers/tavs and cacklers in the decoys. At times there was cacklers 10-15 feet from the blinds walking around. The one thing with little geese is once you land that first flock it'll create a swirling vortex tornado of epic proportions. Wind wont matter, they'll land any which way they can get into the spread.
Getting small geese after a couple hunts to finally do it right is like quoting a friend its like brant hunting...waiting 8 hours for 30 seconds of excitement but its all worth it in the end.
Yesterday morning a few were loading into the field
A couple pictures in series I got
