    Motorized Duck Decoys

Hey guys, I picked up an Edge by Expedite Super Lucky Duck from Cabelas this week and was wondering if anyone else had one of these.

I'm concerned about how the top part of the body shell opens up for access to the motor and battery compartment, and the fact that it looks like water could get in there quite easily and damage the motor.

If there's anyone with any experience with these units, I'd appreciate some feedback.

    Thanks,
    Terry

Dont worry about water gettin in, those things are pretty durable. My buddy bought the lucky duck 4 years ago and it is still going strong. It has been shot a few times and even been fully submerged in the marsh when then metal pole rusted out and broke off. We can't seem to kill that thing no matter how much it gets abused.

Jethro, thanks for the info. I'll do my best not to shoot it too much.

    Cheers,
    Terry
